Design Questions about our Flash Wedding Websites

CAN YOU BUILD A CUSTOM WEDDING WEBSITE FOR ME?

We no longer design custom sites for our clients but we can design a website for you with any theme for which we would charge you a bit extra.

We do not charge for minor customizations however, and this includes incorporating your wedding colors into your wedding website. Backgrounds and fonts are chosen to match your wedding colors for no extra charge. We choose a background we think blends in nicely with your photo the end result being a website that is totally unique! We can also design any page for you or change an existing page to suit your requirements for no extra charge.

WHO CREATES MY WEBSITE? IS THIS A DO-IT-YOURSELF SERVICE?

Every part of your wedding web site is designed and created by our Website Designers. All you have to do is tell us what you want on your site and we do the rest. This is not a do-it-yourself site!

WILL I HAVE ADVERTISING ON MY WEBSITE?

No. There will be no advertising at all on your website except for a small link to weddingorg.com at the bottom of your site.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY WEDDING WEBSITE WHENEVER I WANT?

Yes. All packages include reasonable updates and changes that need to be done once the draft site has been completed. It is at our discretion to decide if at some point that we need to finish changes and complete your site.

HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY WEBSITE?

You can contact us at any time by email with your changes. Remember to include your order number in the email. You will receive your order number in your confirmation email.

IF I WANT ALL OF THE PAGES I HAVE SELECTED TO BE PART OF MY WEBSITE EVENTUALLY, BUT NOT ALL AT ONCE, CAN I SELECT CERTAIN ONES TO DISPLAY AT A TIME?

Yes. You decide when you want your pages to be active. For example, the "Our Thanks" page will be made visible after your wedding.

I DO NOT HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE MY SITE, CAN I STILL LAUNCH THE SITE AND GIVE YOU THE INFORMATION LATER?

Yes. We understand that you may not have all the information available to complete your site. In your Confirmation Email you will receive a link to our Information Form. Fill in the relevant information as you get it. You may submit the form as many times as you wish as long as it has your order number in it.

HOW DOES THE MUSIC WORK ON THE SITE?

There is an on-off button on the site which allows the person viewing the site to switch the music on or off.

CAN I ADD ANY MUSIC I LIKE?

Most of our templates have a choice of 3 songs. You can replace these songs with your own songs (these should be emailed to us in mp3 format). You may also choose any songs from any of our other templates.

I HAVE MORE (OR LESS) PEOPLE IN MY WEDDING PARTY, CAN YOU INCLUDE PHOTOS OF ALL OF THEM?

Yes.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN I HAVE RECEIVED AN RSVP?

When a visitor to your website submits an RSVP form, you will automatically receive an email containing the information that your guest supplied in the RSVP form. The email contains all the details on the form - the name of the guest or guests, their email address and any comments, dietary or other requirements. It's no problem to change the fields on the rsvp form if you need more information from your guests.

You will be given a username and password to log into your admin area. This will allow you to view all your rsvp entries.

HOW DOES THE GUEST BOOK WORK?

When a visitor to your website enters a message into the guest book, the message gets posted to the website so that all future visitors can see the message. You will automatically receive an email containing the information your visitor entered in the guest book as well as the date and time the message was posted.

You will be given a username and password to log into your admin area. This will allow you to modify and delete any guestbook entries.

WHAT IS A BLOG AND HOW DOES THE BLOG WORK?

Would you like to have a trendy wedding blog to go with your wedding website? We are offering this page for free at the moment.

We are offering a free wedding blog to every customer who purchases a wedding website from weddingorg.com. We use the powerful Blogger.com blogger interface and seamlessly integrate it with your wedding website. Your blog will be accessible through your wedding website and will offer your family and friends the opportunity to leave messages and comments.

The blog comes with handy blog-management features. You can update your blog easily simply by sending a mail to your blog (if you are away from home), easily edit your posts and republish them, monitor comments left by visitors and only show the comments you want to show and much more.

The blog on the weddingorg homepage is an example of what the blog looks like.

ON MY WEBSITE, CAN I LIST THE ONLINE BRIDAL REGISTRIES THAT I ALREADY HAVE SET UP AND WILL I BE ABLE TO LINK TO THEM?

Definitely. You may display any information you like for your store registry(s) including links to the store website.

I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER AND PAID FOR MY SITE BUT HAVE CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT WHAT PACKAGE I WANT. CAN I CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT PACKAGE?

Yes as long as this is a higher package. You will be able to pay the difference online.

I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER AND PAID FOR MY SITE BUT HAVE CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT WHICH PAGES I WANT FOR MY SITE. IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHOOSE DIFFERENT PAGES?

Yes no problem.

WHAT IS FLASH?

All our websites are built with Flash. Flash is a tool that allows dynamic interaction with your website. This is not possible with HTML websites.

DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE FLASH INSTALLED TO VIEW THE WEBSITE?

Yes. 95% of computers have Flash already installed. If for some reason, the user does not have Flash installed, it is installed when the user opens the website so you don't have to worry!

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE IN SOME OF MY PAGES, CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME TIPS?

Yes. Just let us know which pages you need help with and we can provide you with some suggestions and ideas.
