HOW WILL MY GUESTS FIND MY WEDDING WEBSITE?

When you purchase your wedding website and select your preferred wedding website address, we secure your .com address within 24 hours to ensuire it isn't taken by someone else. Once we have confirmed the purchase of your wedding website address, you can include it on your wedding stationery and email the web address to your friends and family. They will type the wedding website address into their internet browser in the same way they access any other site on the internet e.g. www.anynameyouwant.com

IF I CHOOSE TO HAVE MY OWN DOMAIN NAME, WHAT WILL THE ADDRESS LOOK LIKE?

It will be in the format www.anynameyouwant.com. You can choose any name you like and provided it hasn't been registered by someone else, you are only limited by your imagination! Perhaps you would like a name that reflects both you and your fiance's names e.g. www.jackandjill.com. This domain name will belong to you once we've registered it but will be registered under our hosting package. The domain is usually purchased for 1 year but can be extended at your request.

In some cases the domain name you have requested may be registered by somebody else on the internet. We will ask you for 2 or more desired wedding website addresses and check each one for availability in your preference order. In the rare case that all 3 of your chosen domain names have been registered by others, we will contact you and discuss possible alternatives.

WHAT IS A DOMAIN NAME?

A "domain name" is a website address. Apple computers domain name is apple.com

DO I NEED MY OWN WEBSITE HOSTING ACCOUNT?

No - we are responsible for hosting your wedding website and linking your wedding website address to your site. We host our wedding websites with award-winning hosting services which maintain backups of their servers and continuously monitor server performance to ensure your site is up and running 99.9% of the time.

DO I NEED A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS TO PURCHASE MY WEBSITE?

No, although it is not necessary to have a valid email address to purchase a wedding website, features such as the Guestbook, and RSVP option do require a valid email address. If you want to sign up for a wedding website but you don't have an email address we suggest signing up for a free email address with Google, Hotmail or Yahoo.

HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN I POST ON MY WEDDING WEBSITE?

The number of photos depends on which Package you select . This information can be found on the 'Order' and 'How it Works page'. Please note that you need to order the Photo Gallery page otherwise you cannot include any photo albums in your website.

For example the Premium 1 package allows 56 photos in the photo gallery. We only count the photos in the actual photo gallery albums - we do not count any photos we use on any of your other pages.

IN WHAT FORMAT DO MY PHOTOS NEED TO BE SAVED?

Your digital pictures need to be in JPEG format. The better the quality of the pictures, the nicer it will look on your site!

HOW DO I GET MY PICTURES ONTO MY WEBSITE?

You need to upload your pictures to our online Pixagogo account. We will send you instructions on how to do this. Album pictures should be emailed to us. These instructions explained in detail to you when you place your order.

IF I SEND MY PICTURES TO YOU TO SCAN AND UPLOAD TO MY SITE, ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?

Yes, please contact us for rates. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any photos that get lost in the post.

WILL I HAVE THE ABILITY TO INCLUDE MY WEDDING AND HONEYMOON PHOTOS?

Yes, you can include any photos you like. We can add them to the Photo Gallery page or Slideshow page. The number of photographs you have depends on which package you choose. You can always purchase additonal pages for your Photo Gallery if the need arises.

CAN I REPLACE ANY OF THE PHOTOS I HAVE UPLOADED AT ANY TIME?

We don't mind if you would like to replace pictures on your web pages when we are doing final changes to your website before it is launched.

Album pictures cannot be swapped out after we they have been uploaded into your respective photo gallery albums - by this we mean you cannot remove your dating pictures (after the wedding) for example and replace them with wedding pictures. It is fine, however, to swap out a few pictures in respective albums if you change your mind about those pictures.

It will be fine to add your engagement pictures, for example, after the site is launched or add any other pictures to various albums at a later date.

IF I WANT TO USE A BLACK AND WHITE PHOTO FOR MY HOME PAGE BUT THE PHOTO I WANT TO USE IS IN COLOR, CAN YOU CHANGE IT FOR ME?

Yes we can easily convert any color photo to black and white for you.

I HAVE SOME PHOTOS THAT NEED TO BE CROPPED, CAN THIS BE DONE?

Yes, this is part of our service to you.

CAN MY WEDDING WEBSITE BE PASSWORD PROTECTED?

Yes. You can choose to add a password to restrict visitors to your site.

I DON'T WANT TO PUT A PASSWORD ON MY ENTIRE WEBSITE, CAN I PASSWORD-PROTECT CERTAIN PAGES?

Yes, this can be done free of charge. You can choose the pages you want to password-protect. For instance, you may want to password-protect your RSVP page or Guestbook page.

WILL MY TRANSACTION BE SECURE?

WeddingOrg offers 100% secure transactions that keep your credit card and personal information completely secure. We use the PayPal system which is internationally recognized as a secure online transaction system.

PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe. In addition, when you send a payment using PayPal, the recipient won't receive your sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number. This way, you don't have to worry about paying people you don't know.

CAN I PAY BY CHEQUE OR DEPOSIT THE MONEY INTO YOUR ACCOUNT INSTEAD OF PAYING ONLINE WITH PAYPAL?

Yes. Just send us an email with your preferred method of payment and we will send you the details.

CAN YOU BUILD A CUSTOM WEDDING WEBSITE FOR ME?

We no longer design custom sites for our clients but we can design a website for you with any theme (premium packages only) for which we may charge you a bit extra. We do not always charge extra to incorporate a theme - it depends on what you want and how much work is involved.

We do not charge for minor customizations however, and this includes incorporating your wedding colors into your wedding website. Backgrounds chosen to match your wedding colors for no extra charge. We choose a background we think blends in nicely with your photo the end result being a website that is totally unique! We can also design any page for you or change an existing page to suit your requirements for no extra charge.

I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER THE WEDDING PARTY PAGE BUT DOES THIS COUNT AS 1 PAGE OR 3 PAGES?

This counts as 1 page although it actually consists of 3 pages. The first page shows the bride & groom, the 2nd page and 3rd pages show the rest of the wedding party.

I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER THE PAGES 'ABOUT THE BRIDE' AND 'ABOUT THE GROOM'. DOES THIS COUNT AS 1 PAGE OR 2 PAGES?

This counts as 1 page although it consists of 2 pages. The first page is 'About the Bride' and the 2nd page is 'About the Groom'.

I DO NOT HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE MY SITE, CAN I STILL LAUNCH THE SITE AND GIVE YOU THE INFORMATION LATER?

Yes. We understand that you may not have all the information available to complete your site. Most of our clients prefer to submit the information bit by bit as they get it. We will send you detailed instructions on what information and pictures we need after you have ordered.

CAN I CHANGE THE ORDER OF THE PAGES?

Yes. You can have any menu order you like.

CAN I HAVE A DIFFERENT MENU TO THE TEMPLATE I WANT TO ORDER?

Yes. You can have a top menu, side menu or bottom menu.

CAN I USE A DIFFERENT FONT TO THE ONE ON THE TEMPLATE?

You can have any font color but we will be using the font that is on that template.

IF I PICK THE "WEDDING EVENTS" PAGE, DOES THAT COUNT AS 1 OR 5 PAGES? WHAT ABOUT "PHOTOGALLERY" PAGE? THERE SEEMS TO BE MORE PAGES INSIDE?

If you pick Wedding Events it is only 1 page! Same with Photogallery although the pages inside the Photogallery page are called popup pages. You are allowed a maximum of 6 popup pages for the Premium 1 Package and 7 popup pages for the Premium 2 package. You will notice that there are popup pages inside the Wedding Details page as well such as 'view ceremony details', 'view reception details' and 'view honeymoon details'. So you have to count the popup pages in your Wedding Details page and Photogallery page so that it doesn't exceed the number on your package. If you want extra popups its not problem to add them for $20 each.

WHO CREATES MY WEBSITE? IS THIS A DO-IT-YOURSELF SERVICE?

Every part of your wedding web site is designed and created by our Website Designers. All you have to do is tell us what you want on your site and we do the rest. This is not a do-it-yourself site!

WILL I HAVE ADVERTISING ON MY WEBSITE?

No. There will be no advertising at all on your website except a very small link to us at the bottom of the site.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY WEDDING WEBSITE WHENEVER I WANT?

Yes. All packages include reasonable updates and changes that need to be done once the draft site has been completed. It is at our discretion to decide if at some point that we need to finish changes and complete your site.

HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY WEBSITE?

You can contact us at any time by email with your changes.

HOW DOES THE MUSIC WORK ON THE SITE?

Most of our templates have a choice of 3 songs. You can replace these songs with your own songs (these should be emailed to us in mp3 format). You may also choose any songs from any of our other templates.

I HAVE MORE (OR LESS) PEOPLE IN MY WEDDING PARTY, CAN YOU INCLUDE PHOTOS OF ALL OF THEM?

Yes, of course! We may need to add extra pages for which we will need to charge you for.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN I HAVE RECEIVED AN RSVP?

When a visitor to your site submits an RSVP form, you will automatically receive an email containing the information that your guest supplied in the RSVP form.

HOW DOES THE GUESTBOOK WORK?

When a visitor to your site enters a message into the guestbook, the message gets posted to the website so that all future visitors can see the message. You will automatically receive an email containing the information your visitor entered in the guestbook as well as the date and time the message was posted.

ON MY WEBSITE, CAN I LIST THE ONLINE BRIDAL REGISTRIES THAT I ALREADY HAVE SET UP AND WILL I BE ABLE TO LINK TO THEM?

Definitely. You may display any information you like for your store registry(s) including links to the store website.

I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER AND PAID FOR MY SITE BUT HAVE CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT WHAT PACKAGE I WANT. CAN I CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT PACKAGE?

Yes as long as this is a higher package. You will be able to pay the difference online.

I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER AND PAID FOR MY SITE BUT HAVE CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT WHICH PAGES I WANT FOR MY SITE. IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHOOSE DIFFERENT PAGES?

Yes as long as we have not started working on your site.

WHAT IS FLASH?

All our websites are built with Flash. Flash is a tool that allows dynamic interaction with your website. This is not possible with HTML websites.

DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE FLASH INSTALLED TO VIEW THE WEBSITE?
Yes. 95% of computers have Flash already installed. If for some reason, the user does not have Flash installed, it is installed when the user opens the website so you don't have to worry!

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE IN SOME OF MY PAGES, CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME TIPS?

Yes. Just let us know which pages you need help with and we can provide you with some suggestions and ideas.

HOW MUCH DOES A WEDDING WEBSITE COST?

The cost depends on which Package you select. This information can be found on the 'Order' and 'How it Works page'.

CAN I PAY OVER 4 MONTHS?

Yes. We will send you a link to pay each month. We can start working on your site as soon as we have received your first instalment. The rest of the payments can be made after the site is launched.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL HIDDEN COSTS?

No. There are absolutely no fees other than the quoted price. Additonal pages can be purchased as needed. You may also wish to purchase more photo gallery pages at a later stage depending on how many wedding photos you'd like for example.

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Payment can be made by PayPal. PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Payment can be made directly into our bank account or a cheque posted to us if you live in the UK. If you would prefer to pay by cheque or deposit the money into our account then just send us an email detailing your preferred method of payment and we will send you the details.

Payment can be made over 4 months if required. Simply order your website from the Order Page and ignore the payment part of the form. Contact us via email at info@weddingorg.com and let us know that you would like to pay over 4 months. We will send you a confirmation of your order and a link to pay the first installment of your wedding website (by email).

HOW DO I PURCHASE AND PAY FOR MY WEDDING WEBSITE?

Click on the "Order" page and follow the instructions to pay securely online.

I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER AND PAID FOR MY SITE BUT HAVE CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT WHAT PACKAGE I WANT. CAN I CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT PACKAGE?

WHAT IF FOR SOME REASON I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THE WEBSITE?

We want you to be really happy with your site! If for some reason you are dissatisfied please send us an email within 14 days of purchase and we will give you a refund of 100%. We have never had anyone ask for a refund - everyone loves their site!

CAN I BUY THE PACKAGE WITH 8 PAGES AND PURCHASE AN EXTRA PAGE AT A LATER STAGE?

Yes. Order the Premium 1 Package online and if you decide you'd like more pages later we will send you a link to pay via email.

HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE TO CREATE MY WEDDING WEBSITE?

Most websites can be ready within 2-5 working days of receiving your photos. If you need your site sooner, we will try our best to accommodate you depending on our schedule.

I DO NOT HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE MY SITE, CAN I STILL LAUNCH THE SITE AND GIVE YOU THE INFORMATION LATER?

Yes. We understand that you may not have all the information available to complete your site. We do prefer to have the site completed before it is launched as your guests may find it disappointing if there are lots of notes saying 'coming soon'!

WHERE CAN IF FIND MY ORDER NUMBER?

You will receive your order number in your confirmation email. Your confirmation email is sent to you as soon as we receive your online Order Form. Your confirmation email will also confirm the pages you have chosen for your site as well as your website address.

HOW LONG WILL MY WEBSITE BE UP FOR?

Your website will be active for 12 months. If you need it to be longer, just let us know and you can purchase your domain name for another year.

HOW WILL MY GUESTS FIND MY WEDDING WEBSITE?

Your confirmation email will include confirmation of your wedding website address. Once your site is completed, we suggest that you either send out an email to your family and friends announcing your wedding website or send out a "Save the Date" card with your website address printed on it.
